Blackberry Basil Smoothie
Makes 2 smoothies
Ingredients:
2 1/2 t. minced fresh ginger
4-6 basil leaves
Juice of 1/2 lime
1 c. plant-based milk
1 c. fresh or frozen blackberries
1/2 c. ice
Sweetener (such as sugar, agave, or stevia) to taste
Directions:
1. Put ginger, basil, lime juice, and milk in a blender and blend at high speed until ginger and basil are completely incorporated.
2. Add blackberries, ice, and sweetener if using, and blend until smooth.
