Creole Seasoning

Makes about 1/3 cup

Ingredients

1 T garlic powder

1 T paprika

2 t chili powder

2 t crushed red pepper flakes

1 1/4 t kosher salt

2 t freshly ground black pepper

2 t onion powder

1 t dried oregano

1 t dried thyme

1/4 t cayenne pepper

Directions

1. Grind all ingredients to a fine powder in a spice mill or with a mortar and pestle. Seasoning can be made ahead. Will keep for 6 months in an airtight container at room temperature.
