Amaretto Sour

Ingredients:

2 ounces amaretto liqueur

1 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice

1 teaspoon simple syrup

Bourbon cherries

Orange rounds

Instructions:

1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.

2. Add the amaretto, lemon juice and simple syrup to the shaker.

3. Shake vigorously until chilled, about 30 seconds.

4. Fill a glass with ice and strain the mixture into it.

5. Garnish with an orange round and/or maraschino cherry.

Notes:

This drink is best served chilled. To keep it cold longer, put it in the freezer until ready to serve.
