Sesame Tamari Almonds
Ingredients
1/4 cup maple syrup or agave syrup
2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
2 tablespoons low sodium gluten free tamari
2 pinches of salt
2 cups raw almonds
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
Instructions
Mix maple syrup, toasted sesame oil, tamari, and salt.
Place
almonds in a nonstick pan. Add sesame tamari mixture. Cook on
medium-low heat until liquid cooks down and almonds are all coated,
about 5 minutes. Sprinkle sesame seeds on and stir until thoroughly
covering almonds.
Spread on parchment paper or aluminum foil to cool.
